intergenerational group COA Goldin Center

Adam and I spent the morning with Nicole, James, Antwan, Asia, Catherine and Leah. The intergenerational group connects neighborhood high schoolers with seniors for an activity once a month at the COA Goldin Center on Burleigh & 24th. Adam and I were honored to participate in today’s meeting and facilitate interviews between the generations. We prompted discussions with question like “tell me about your most recent memory of your mother, or what does/did your mother want for you?” Once we got out of the way and let the interviewing begin the room was a buzz with stories and smiles. Audio excerpts to follow soon.
