During the opening of here, mothers are, a number of the women who opened their homes for the project were able to attend, which also gave us a chance to meet new family members.
Brandon, Archie and Jacki’s son, was on hand and spent some time standing in front of the middle billboard — he already knew the image very well from his own home. We recorded Brandon’s response to seeing his family’s stairwell as part of the project:
